    • Obituary:
      Asa C. Cox of Perryville died November 22, in the Canastota Memorial Hospital. He was born in the town of Lincoln August 24, 1865, a son of Henry and Elizabeth Bentley Cox. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are his wife, Minnie Austin Cox; two sons, Kenneth of Chittenango and Clinton of Perryville; five daughters, Mrs. Harold Smith of Frankfort, Mrs. William Bennett and Elizabeth Bennett of Canastota, Mrs. Gerald Jones of Perryville, Mrs. Louis Friend of Cazenovia and a sister, Mary Cox of Rome.

      Obituary:
      Perryville - Funeral services for Asa C. Cox, 75, who died in Canastota Hospital Friday afternoon, were conducted at the home on Monday afternoon at1 p.m. by Rev. Harold Steer of the Perryville Methodist Church. Burial was in the local cemetery. Mr. Coxwas born at Clockville on August 24,1865. He was a retired farmer, as he had been in poor health for several years. He had spent most of his live in this vicinity. He married Minnie Austin on October 7, 1896. He was a member of the Methodist Church.Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie Austin Cox; two sons, Clinton Cox of this place and Kenneth Cox of Chittenango; five daughters, Mrs. Harold Smith of Frankfort, Mrs. William Bennett and Mrs. Martin Bennett of Canastota,Mrs. Louis Friend of Cazenovia and Mrs. Gerald Jones of this place, and one sister, Mary Cox, of Rome.
