    • Obituary:
Charles P. Marshall died at his home near Perryville between 1 and 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, of blood poisoning. Several weeks ago Mr.Marshall, while cutting cedar in his wood, accidentally cut his left foot on the large toe joint. At the time he did not think it was serious, butit commenced to discharge and then suddenly stopped, and was apparently healing. While in this condition he again injured his foot, and the sorebroke open. Blood poisoning then set in and he grew worse until he died.

Charles P. Marshall was born in the town of Sullivan, near Perryville, and spent his entire life there with the exception of six years when heworked at the dry dock here. He leaves a wife, formerly Miss Phoebe Hodge, whom he married two years ago. He was highly respected by all those whoknew him. A host of friends will regret to learn of the sudden death of Mr. Marshall. The deceased was 53 years old. The funeral will be heldthis afternoon from his late home. Rev. Mr. Shaw will officiate.
