- Obituary: Dolores D. "Dody" Reisig, 70, of Williams Corners Rd., passed away Sunday, April 8, 2007, at Community Memorial Hospital, Hamilton.
She was born May 16, 1936 in Oneida, a daughter of Kirkland and Isabelle Frost Wilson. She was a lifelong resident of Morrisville and received her education in local schools. She was a licensed cosmetologist. On October 11, 1953, Dolores was united in marriage to Walter F. Reisig in Canastota and they made their home in Morrisville. He predeceased her on February 11, 2007. Mrs. Reisig had worked at SUNY Morrisville until her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Joan of Arc Church in Morrisville. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Audrey Bryant of Syracuse, Gloria and Robert Butler of Cazenovia; two sons, Walter F. Reisig, Jr. and Robert Reisig, both of Morrisville; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, a sister and a son-in-law.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 12, from St. Joan of Arc Church, Brookside Dr., Morrisville, followed by burial in the Morrisville Rural Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 31 Cedar St., Morrisville, on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m.
