    • Obituary:
      Madison. -- Charles Shaver, 80, died Wednesday in Burgess convalescent home, Eaton. A native of the town of Smithfield, he was born Sept. 18, 1866,son of Robert and Lucy Shaver.

      Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Leroy Holman, of Michigan; Mrs. Grace Sabin, Chenango Forks, and Mrs. Isaac Barriger, Bouckville; twostep-daughters, Mrs. Edith Wilcox, Clockville, and Mrs. Eiffie Colclough, Cazenovia, and two step-sons, Orrie Burgdoff, Oneida Valley, and GeorgeBurgdoff, Canastota.

      Services will be at Smith funeral rooms at 2 p.m. Saturday with burial in Madison.

      Obituary:
      Charles Shaver, 80, died April 23, 1947, at a convalescent home in Eaton after a three weeks' illness.

      He was born in the Town of Smithfield, son of Robert and Lucy Shaver and was married to Ann Grippes {Griffin} in 1887. She died in 1946.

      Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Le Roy Holman, Michigan; Mrs, Grace Fabin, Chittenango; Mrs. Isaac Barriger, Bouckville; two step-daughters andtwo step-sons.

      Funeral services were held Saturday from the Smith Funeral Home with burial in Madison.
