    • Obituary:
      Rev. Silas Wright Andrews for many years a member of the Methodist conference died at his home in Perryville Saturday at the age of 91. He was anative of Potter, Yates Co. and was educated at Pen Yann Academy, Lima Academy, Cazenovia Seminary finishing his course at the later seminary in1909. He served pastorates in all parts of the state until 1921 when he retired and came to Perryville to make his home.
      Surviving are his wife Emma Bishop Andrews, two sons John W. of Orlando Fla. and Charles L. Andrews of Perryville and five grandchildren.
      Brief funeral services were held at Perryville Methodist church Tuesday and later at the Penn Yan cemetery chapel.. The Syracuse East District Supt,Rev. Dr. Alfred P. Coman assisted by Rev. Harold E. Steer officiated.

      Minister, 91 Is Dead at Chittenango
      Rev. Silias Wright Andrews Succumbs in Home at Perryville
      Chittenango, Sept. 16 -- The Rev. Silas Wright Andrews, 91, retired methodist minister, died early this morning at his home in Perryville, two mileseast of this village. He lived at Perryville since his retirement 18 years ago.
      Born at Potter, the son of Thomas Jefferson and Hannah Williamson Andrews, Mr. Andrews received his education at Penn Yann Academy, Lima Seminaryand Cazenovia Seminary. He was admitted to the Methodist ministry in 1883.
      After serving as pastor of numerous parishes in New York State, he became minister of Borodino Methodist Church several years before his retirement.His first wife was Ida Watkins Andrews of Gorham, whom he married in 1873, died 39 years ago.
      Mr. Andrews was a life member of Dresden Lodge, F. and A. M. and a member of the Central New York Methodist Conference. Surviving are his secondwife, Mrs. Emma Bishop Andrews; two sons, John W. Andrews of Orlando, Fla, and Charles L. Andrews of Perryville, and five grandchildren.
      The Rev. Dr. Alfred P. Coman of Syracuse assisted by Rev. Harold E. Steer of Perryville, will officiate at funeral services at Perryville MethodistChurch at 10 A.M. (E.S.T.) Tuesday. Burial will be at Penn Yann.
