      Obituary:
      Charles David Van Epps of Perryville died in Crouse Irving hospital Tuesday, March 11 after two weeks illness. He was born in Perryville July 1,1899, the son of the late Carrie Coon and Fred Van Epps. He was educated in the local school and married Laura Austin on March 28, 1925, bought ahome in the village and worked all his life in this vicinity. For the past 16 years he has been employed at Jamesville Stone Quarry but became illabout a year ago and had had to take a leave of absence from his work.Of late he was much improved and returned to his job and had only worked aweek when stricken again which proved fatal. His wife, son and daughter were at his bedside almost constantly. He was a member of IOOF and Rebekahlodges of Perryville.

      He is survived by his wife, one daughter Marilyn and a son Milton, a sister Mrs. Ruth Jackson of Minoa, two brothers Earl of Minoa, and Milton ofSan Gabriel, Calif. and several nieces and nephews.
      Funeral services were held from his late home Thursday afternoon with Rev. A. N. Peckham of Perryville Methodist church officiating. Burial wasmade in the local cemetery. The sympathy of the whole town goes to the bereaved family.
